At Visionpoint we are specialists in AV and other associated technologies and are passionate in the important role it plays in our everyday lives, both at home and work. Our people and their collective knowledge are the key to the company's success offering a unique blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen with a "can do will do approach".

Please meet some of the key team members:

Alan Hopkins - Director

Alan has wide ranging expertise in sales, marketing, advertising and AV products.

Specifically, his career in retail and FMCG matched to audio visual manufacturing, means he is perfectly placed within Visionpoint to work with our corporate and retail clients.

His experience includes holding key Board level positions within global companies including Imperial Tobacco, Pioneer Hi-Fidelity (GB) Limited, Amstrad PLC and a major Chinese technology brand.

Having worked with companies involved in innovation and technically advanced AV manufacturing, Alan understands the importance of using state of the art technologies to best advantage, and is able to advise our clients accordingly.

Bruce Warmer – Director

Today's AV solutions are backed by highly advanced software and IT systems, which is where Bruce's expertise really comes to the fore. With degrees in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Bruce is a trained software engineer with a specialist experience in software modelling and CASE tools.

Bruce has extensive experience in software development, managing software development teams and running companies, and has worked with a number of major businesses including N & P Building Society, Swiss Post and SSA Inc amongst others.

Paul Stracey – Director

Paul’s career spans a wide range of roles within the telecommunications, AV and defence industry, including GEC-Marconi where his expertise was incorporated on key projects including the GEC-Marconi Heli-Tele (a broadcast standard television surveillance system for on board helicopter use) and ultrasonics used within intelligent torpedoes.

Paul's extensive knowledge of software and hardware also comes from working within global companies such as Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden, and AT&T (Lucent Technologies) in the United States. In addition, he has worked on electronics within the automotive industry, including Motorola, Magneti Marelli and Hyundai plus he has very specialised knowledge in IT internet and intranet security.

His wide skills and expertise are of a great asset to Visionpoint especially in the way AV and IT are becoming ever more intertwined.
